Membership

Membership in the Pride of the Prairie Quilters is open to any person 18 years of age or older interested in quilting.  All levels of quilters are welcome -- beginning, intermediate, and advanced quilters, as well as collectors and admirers.

  • Fellowship - Meetings are preceded by an informal social time. Come a bit early and visit, browse in the library, help set up the room or just chat.

  • Show and Tell - which spotlights the work of YOU and your fellow members.

  • Guild-sponsored Biennial Quilt Show

  • Member Quilting Bees

  • Extensive Lending Library

  • Philanthropy and Community Service.  Members make and donate quilts each year to local agencies. 

  • Special Events – Holiday Parties, Retreats, Bus Trips, Block Swaps, and more.

Annual Membership $25

New members will receive a packet containing a list of current board members, a directory of guild members, By-Laws, Policy and Procedures and a listing of local quilt stores.

Print out a form and mail a check payable to Pride of the Prairie Quilters, PO Box 501, Plainfield, IL 60544.  Or come to the next guild meeting and sign up to become our newest member!

Guests

Guests are welcome to attend our meetings for a $5 fee.

 

Members Only

The Pride of the Prairie Quilters has an on-line community board for its current guild members.  Members can use the board to post messages, ask for help with a technique, look for a pattern or fabric, share pictures and much more.

This is a quick and efficient way to communicate and connect with other guild members.
