Quilting Bees
A quilting bee is a group of people who get together
to sew and quilt.
Quilters may work together on projects for each other or
for groups in the community, or members may simply get
together to socialize as they each work on their own
projects.
Quilting bees provide their members
the opportunity to talk about their ideas and their
quilts with other quilters and an opportunity to develop
friendships as they share a part of their lives with
each other.
Bees may meet during the
day or evening. Some bees are highly organized
with specific group projects, and
others are more casual, whose members simply enjoy
getting together to talk, sew and maybe snack on
something delicious!
Meet new friends, get connected -
join a quilting bee!
Annual Bee Meeting
Pride of the Prairie Quilters holds
an annual Bee Meeting to encourage new guild members and
current members to join and/or begin new quilting bees.
