Welcome!
The purpose of the Pride of the
Prairie Quilters is to develop and promote an interest
in the art of quilting.
The guild presents programs of
interest to its members and guests, educates through
lectures and workshops, and encourages philanthropic activities. Monthly guild meetings are open to all who share this interest in
quilting. Guests are welcome to attend for a $5 fee.

Join us on May 15th for our next guild meeting.
We will hear a lecture from Karen Witt.
For the past several years, she has chosen to
specialize in the history of quilting, the use
of reproduction fabrics and the creation of
quilts with historic significance. Her
lecture will be "Using Reproduction Fabrics".
Everyone is encouraged
to bring their favorite reproduction fabric
and/or project made from reproduction fabrics.

website: "There are so many wonderful
fabrics available today - but how do we use
them? Can they be used in contemporary quilts?
What patterns are appropriate for what periods
of time? What colors were available and when?
Learn the answers to these questions and more as
we discuss some possible uses of reproduction
fabrics."

Meetings
Meetings are held the third
Thursday of each month and the program begins
promptly at 7:00 p.m.
Arrive early (6:30 p.m.) to check-in,
socialize, view the new library books, take a refreshment or see the
wonderful quilts our speakers may bring.
